I have voted for Keith Brown for deputy leader. Not just because he has achieved such a lot since becoming Minister for Transport and Veterans. It is nice to know he spends time in and around the Argyll and Kintyre area.
Locally we have seen a ferry link set up between Campbeltown and Ardrossan and the trunking of the A83 between Kennacraig and Campbeltown and a Sunday flight between Machrihanish and Glasgow. Most importantly because he has worked under Nicola Sturgeon for the last few years, they will be hitting the ground running with a close working relationship already formed.
To have both First Minster and Deputy First Minster working together in Edinburgh will be essential to keep the party strong and will be without doubt the quickest route to Scotland becoming an independent country.
